Jayson Tatum Under 5.5 assists (-118)
Our model likes under bets on Jayson Tatum’s assists on this line.
In the final three games of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, Tatum collected four, five and three assists. He averaged 4.5 assists in the regular season and he finished with five or fewer assists in six of eight games against Milwaukee this season (counting the playoffs).
While Tatum will surely play a ton of minutes and see a huge usage rate in a knockout game, our projections put him at 4.9 assists.
Klay Thompson Over 3.5 three-pointers (-104)
Klay Thompson was no good in the series against the Memphis Grizzliesbut he still makes a lot of three-point tries.
Over the first five games of this series, Thompson is averaging 8.2 three-point attempts per game, and we expect him to shoot a whopping 10.0 three-pointers tonight.
Being at home should help the most money as he has made 39.5% of his three at home this season compared to 37.0% on the road. He also took 9.8 threes per game at home, compared to 8.5 per night on the road.
We have Thompson knocking 3.8 three out of those 10.0 attempts. With the plus at -104 and the minus at -122, the plus is the preferred team.
