In a game for the ages, the Miami Heat did the impossible and forced a Game 7 against the Boston Celtics. After an embarrassing losing streak, Miami entered the Boston building. With the road crowd firing, the atmosphere was not conducive for them. However, this is when the tough ones tend to win out. Unsurprisingly, Jimmy Butler came back on top and had arguably his greatest playoff performance. With the Heat down, he put it all on the line and made sure Miami saw another game. Likewise, he left many impressed, including his good friend, Joel Embiid.

Jimmy Butler has been a superstar through these playoffs for the Miami Heat. However, in the last three games, the Celtics have managed to calm him down. By keeping him at just 9 points per game, they made the NBA world doubt Butler. But when it all seemed over for the Heat, their savior showed up to keep them alive. Butler had a tear since the first tip and didn’t stop until the job was done.

Butler’s heroic night against the Celtics earns him praise from all over

Faced with elimination, the Miami Heat were surely ready to give everything. However, looking at their last 2 games, confidence levels must have been low. However, at a time like this, miracles are desperately needed. And Butler presented himself in the broadest possible way. Starting at 9 ppg in his last 3 meetings with the Celtics, Jimmy put on a show for the ages and knocked Miami out of every hole they got into tonight.

NBA players were left speechless watching Butler go to work all night. Winning a match 6 on the road was never going to be an easy task. However, Butler wasn’t ready to come out just yet.

In a must-play game, Butler flipped the switches on and off. With a colossal task ahead, Jimmy Butler only amassed 47 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals and one block. He was at his best with the pressure weighing on him the most to deliver. Additionally, Kyle Lowry had a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists for Miami. No other player broke the 15 point mark as it was a show for Butler for the entirety of Game 6.

Boston got off to a flying start with their scoring duo that really held Miami back. However, they slowed down in the second half and couldn’t go all the way. Jayson Tatum had another impressive game, scoring 30 points to go along with 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

Jaylen Brown made an impact early but failed to keep up the pace. He finished the game with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Coming off the bench, Derrick White had a huge game for the second game in a row with 22 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. However, their efforts weren’t enough as a Game 7 in Miami is now scheduled.
