Best NBA Player Accessory Picks for February 12

We’re in for a treat with 11 games scheduled for Saturday in the NBA, giving us plenty of chances to capitalize. Read on for our NBA accessory picks.

I’m watching a player who was given the keys to the Trail Blazers offense to have a game of his own to start Saturday’s slate. Later, I’ll turn my attention to the Cavaliers defense, then CJ McCollum, who has a brand new home.

Here are my top NBA prop picks for Saturday’s games (odds via DraftKings Sportsbooks; pick confidence is based on a 1-5 scale).

Saturday’s Best NBA Prop Picks

  • Anfernée Simons Over 21.5 points (-115) ★★★★
  • Tobias Harris Under 18.5 points (-105) ★★★★
  • CJ McCollum Over 4.5 assists (+115) ★★★

NBA Prop Predictions

Simons Over 21.5 points (-115)

Simons is now Portland’s top dog and he’s made the most of it. In his first game since the CJ McCollum trade, Simons scored 29 points against a worn and sorry Lakers defense on 11 of 23 shooting and 5 of 11 from deep.

While the 38 minutes he saw weren’t entirely new (he played a lot with injured Damian Lillard and McCollum), his sense of confidence certainly was.

The game was his best result in two weeks and his third best of the season for the young guard. He has incredible talent and now has another friendly with a Knicks defense that fell last month. There’s no one who will be able to keep Simons, allowing us to cash in on this NBA prop pick.

Harris Under 18.5 points (-105)

There are a lot of things working against Harris here, who has once been the dream of punters looking to wipe out a much-used player in tough times. He just hasn’t played good basketball this season and his good games are rare.

Harris struggled with a tough Thunder defense Friday night, scoring just 17 points on 7-of-16 shooting. Now he’ll be faced with one of the toughest tasks in basketball — scoring on Evan Mobley.

Predictably, this game’s total is low, the lowest on the slate actually at 206 on DraftKings. This is due to the slow pace (29th in the NBA) that Cleveland likes to play with coupled with their incredible defense. The rating conditions should be very unfavorable here.

McCollum Over 4.5 assists (+115)

If CJ McCollum can rack up five assists on a night when the Pelicans are shooting 26.8 percent from three, I like his chances of rolling him back against a worse defense.

The change of scenery appears to have been good for McCollum, who relied on a healthy dose to the tune of a 28.1% usage rate in his first game. He also had all five assists against one of the strongest defenses in the NBA, in the Miami Heat.

The combo guard still has Jonas Valanciunas to throw the ball low against a soft Spurs frontcourt. He should also get a better shooting night with Brandon Ingram and Devonte’ Graham. I believe that McCollum, who dominates the ball, will continue to be heavily involved.
