BASKETBALL superstar James Harden has been accused of paying thieves £ 15,500 to beat a man.
The Houston Rockets goalkeeper and MVP candidate – who earns £ 22million a year – is said to have ‘organized’ the robbery of Moses Malone Jr.
Malone Jr, son of Hall of Famer and former Rockets center Moses Malone, was beaten up and robbed of up to £ 40,000 worth of jewelry at a Texas strip club in June.
He now alleges that Harden paid the thieves over £ 15,000 to attack him.
And, incredibly, Malone Jr claims the assault happened because Harden allegedly got mad at Malone Jr’s Facebook post about his basketball camp, according to Illustrated sports.
Malone Jr’s attorney, George Farah, said: “The post basically referred to James Harden charging $ 250 for a basketball camp.”
The lawsuit alleges that Malone was followed outside the club by a group of gunmen, thrown to the ground and repeatedly punched in the face.
It is then claimed that the men ripped off her diamond earrings and stole jewelry.
The lawsuit alleges 6-foot-5 Harden was inside the club at some point during the night of the incident.
Four men have already been charged in this case.
One of them, Darian Blount, told Malone Jr during the attack that he “disrespected James Harden and should be punished after that,” according to a criminal complaint.
